JOB VACANCY REQUIREMENT 

Job Objective:  The Finance and Account Executive should manage funds in such a manner as to maximize returns on investments while minimizing risk and ensuring that an adequate control structure is in place over the transfer and investment of funds

FEMALE ACCOUNT/FINANCE EXECUTIVE 

Summary 

We are an independent physical bunkering solutions provider servicing the oil and gas industry. 

Key roles and responsibilities: (Accountabilities) 

  • Manage the preparation of company’s budget. 
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting and procedures. 
  •       Engage in on – going cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company. 
  •       Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs and available funds for investment. 
  •       Achieving the department’s goals and objectives. 
  •       Arrange for equity and debt financing and invest funds. 
  •       Maintain banking relationships and assist in determining the company’s proper capital structure 
  •       Report to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances. 
  •       Recommend appropriate dividend issuance, based on historical dividend patterns and expected cash flows. 
  •       Report to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances. 
  •       Participate in the determination of product pricing in relation to feature s offered and competitor pricing  
  •       Participate key business metrics and report on them to management. 

Minimum Experience: 

  • BSc/HND Accounting from a reputable tertiary institution 
  • Minimum of 3 years practical experience 
  •       Professional certification and other relevant qualifications, an advantage 

    Skill Set: 
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRC) 
  • Good knowledge of financial reporting and interpretation of key performance ratios. 
  •       Good understanding budget and financial forecast process. 
  •       Familiarity with tax laws and compliance. 
  •       Knowledge of bank reconciliation. 
  •       Effective management of receivables and payables 
  •       Practical knowledge of SAGE accounting package.   
  •       Interpersonal relationship skills. 
  •       Analytical and fund management skills 
  •       Trustworthy with very high sense of intelligence 

      Organizational and time-management skills etc.  


Remuneration:  

Commensurate based on industry standard with other fringe benefits.
