Summary 

The Trade Operations Officer is a key member of the Operations and Trade teams supporting trade processes, data management, nomination of agents and other government regulatory agencies. The Trade Operations Officer work closely with the ED, Trade Lead and the entire team in respect to a particular trade or project. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, positive professional attitude, and ability to work in a team environment. 

We seek a Trade Operation personnel experienced in the following key roles and responsibilities: 

Responsibilities: Trade Operations 
Efficient processing of import Letters of Credit, Bills for Collections and Form M processes working with the finance team.
      Managing documentary collections and liaising with relevant internal departments.
      Follow up with repayment process for various agents.
      Managing Trade Expense database.
      Liaising with Regulatory body such as DPR where necessary and resolving trade queries with the guide from Trade Lead.
      To handle/ process all trade transaction in accordance with the procedure manual, rules, and regulations
      To perform reconciliation of all trade invoices on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
      To handle internal/ external customers’ trade-related queries in a professional manner
      Liaison between Operations and Finance department in respect to BDR (Bunker Delivery Report)

      Qualifications & Minimum Requirements  
      Oil and gas industry or related experience.  
      Good first degree from a reputable university and preferably a Masters degree 
      Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
      Minimum of 2 to 3years cognate experience in the trade documentations and procedures 
      Ability to reconcile all trade transactions and generate bunker delivery report  
      Strong Computer skills i.e.: Office Package 
      Attention to details with ability to work as a team player 
      Possess very strong relationship skill 
      Experienced in Client Management 
      Effective oral and written communication skills 
      Must be able to work within specified timelines on tasks and assigned roles 
      High degree of poise and etiquette 
      Problem Solving Ability
