Summary 

We are an emerging independent and diversified Energy Company with business operations in the downstream and midstream sectors with a core focus on sub Saharan Africa.  

We seek a competent and experienced HR Personnel in the following key roles and responsibilities:  

  • Support the Head, HR in all activities of staff; including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department 
  • Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment 
  •       Work on staff related budget and Executions 
  •       Implement based on directives the policies and programs covering following areas: recruiting, compensation and on-boarding, training, and employee/labour relations 
  •       Maintain physical and digital personnel records 
  •       Understand statutory requirements of employee-focused agencies, e.g. PENCOM, NSITF, Group Life  
  •       Assist in establishing policies and procedures including disciplinary policies and monitor their application to ensure fairness consistency 
  •       Resolve based on guidelines the internal employee complaints 
  •       Comply with all of the Company’s and HSE policies and procedures 
  •       Perform other work-related tasks as assigned

Education Requirements 

  • A good 1st degree or HND from a reputable institution 
  • 3 to 5 years experience in similar role preferably in oil and Gas industry 
  • Relevant Professional qualifications
  •       Must have completed NYSC. 
  •       Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  •       Ability to work with minimal supervision 
  •       Proactive (Ability to think and take initiative) 
  •       Ability to work under pressure 
  •       Must be dedicated and responsible.
  •       Excellent writing skills 

      Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) 

Remuneration:  

Commensurate with the level of candidate’s experience as well as other fringe benefits.
